have, you'll probably find one trusted brand of memory...Corsair. The
company has always managed to raise the bar and offer enhancements not only in
performance but in features as well. No other memory manufacturer seems
to be interested in targeting a wider range of users. Corsair is
dedicated to pleasing all PC users, including those in the growing modding
community. The Pro series modules with real time activity LEDs were a
good example. Corsair, however, has taken this a huge step further with their new XPERT series modules. Not only do they continue to sport the activity
LEDs, but now they feature a programmable LED display that monitors and displays
vital information such as frequency, temperature and voltage, all in real
time. On top of that, the display is also user-programmable and will let
you input and scroll your own personal message. These were certainly designed
with overclockers and modders in mind. Let's have a thorough look at
these beauties.

These memory modules come in a much larger blister packaging than the Pro
series modules. Included are the plug-in LED displays, quick install
guide and a CD-ROM containing the "Memory Dashboard" software to program
your display.

The heat spreaders are quite large and are
roughly the same size as those found on their Pro series modules.
However, they are designed a bit differently and are not closed off at the
top. The circuit board protrudes off the top to expose the pins which
connect to the actually LED modules.
