Aspire X-Infinity Mid Tower Gaming Case Review

Features

The X-Infinity comes with two pre-installed fans, one on the side panel and one on the top serving as a blowhole.  Some decent looking fan grills are provided as well to enhance its appearance.

As far as additional cooling goes, the X-Infinity allows you to install up to three additional fans.  Unlike a majority of cases on the market, the rear of the case will allow you to install either a 120mm or 80mm fan.  This is definitely a key feature as not only will it provide better overall cooling, but also keep noise levels to a minimum.  The front of the case has two 80mm fan mounts.

The front features a door with an acrylic panel that has "X-Infinity" engraved into it.  There are a a total of four blue LED's that will light it up to enhance its looks.  Also included, is an LCD display to monitor either your CPU or case temperature.

The top front is by far its most appealing feature.  It resembles the front end of a car and the so called "headlights" feature blue LED's for both the HDD activity and power.  This is the first case I've come across where the power and reset buttons are located on the top of the case.  I actually like this, as it makes it just that much more unique.  There is also a sliding cover on the front that reveals your front USB and audio jacks.  Strangely enough, while it does have firewire access, the circuit board itself does not provide it.
