Ever since the launch of the much anticipated Zune HD, many have been left wondering what the hell happened to the the black version of the Zune HD 32GB. Personally, I think it was completely absurd that they didn’t launch with all colors available. From a marketing standpoint, and based on how angry some did get in forums on the web, it just didn’t make much sense and I don’t think it was the right move. If they seriously want to make an impact and do well against its main competitor, it would have been wise to not hold back and just offer all colors upon launch.

I personally expected it to be released a week later and that’s exactly what has happened. It was a bit late though and as of 10:30PM eastern time, the black 32GB Zune HD is now available for purchase from ZuneOriginals.
Now, one surprising change though is the fact that black is no longer an option for the 16GB model. WTF?? It is, however, available in the colors previously launched for the 32GB model. Simply poor judgment in my opinion.
Expect additional colors in the coming weeks. Also, stay tuned for a very thorough review of this popular PMP, complete with screenshots of the GUI.
