Introduction
As
computers get more and more powerful, different measures need to be taken in
order to keep them running at stable temperatures. Unfortunately,
this usually means adding additional fans which only increases noise levels.
We are starting to see quite a few cases that have up to 6 fan mounts so fan
controllers allowing you to control more than 4 fans are slowly creeping into
the PC market. Many companies also focus on their overall design
in order to attract the increasing number of PC enthusiasts and case modders.
Today we look at one such controller with a stunning design and 6 fan support.

We
are unsure who the manufacturer of the product is as it is not listed on the
retail packaging or on the Xoxide website. This is another one of
those excellent generic PC accessories that probably comes from Japan or
Korea. Inside the package you will find the fan controller with clear
acrylic faceplate pre-installed along with a bunch of extra goodies.
These include: two additional front acrylic panels, one RPM power cable
for your CPU fan, two 3pin to 4pin wires, one power cable, a hard drive
mounting kit and a bag of installation hardware which includes the tool to
remove the front panels. The hard drive mounting kit is basically a pair
of brackets that will allow you to install your Hard Drive in a 5.25" bay.
Why they include it? Not exactly sure! It isn't really a
necessity.
