Conclusions

NZXT has done well with their latest addition to their highly
popular gaming cases. The Trinity, although not quite considered a
high quality chassis, offers many features that will satisfy a variety of
users, especially those in the gaming and modding community. Its
design is certainly unique and will blend in well with today's high tech
computing hardware. There were two features in particular that really
did impress me and typically not found in mid-tower cases. One was the
support for dual 120mm fans for more efficient cooling while keeping noise
levels to a bare minimum. The other was the five 5.25" drive bays.
This definitely comes in handy considering the number of useful bay
accessories out on the market these days. Its tool-free design makes
installation a breeze, thanks to the color-coded and clearly labeled drive rails.
Unlike a majority of cases in its class, the front door panel holds well and
takes quite a bit of force to release. This is nice, considering a
majority are quite flimsy and don't hold up very well. As far as
improvements go, the LCD itself could have been a bit larger & more feature-rich.
Its location is also not where I would have put it. It is near the bottom and not easy to read.
They also should have included at least one 120mm fan. Personally, it
simply does not make
sense to include an 80mm fan on a case that supports larger ones. Its innovative design, features and
excellent cooling performance
earns our recommendation.

The
NZXT Trinity can be found at
Xoxide.com and typically runs for $74.99.
However, they are currently offering a $20 mail-in rebate, bringing this
case down to $54.99. At this lower price, it is certainly money well spent.
For those interested in the new Turbine 120mm AeroCool fans used in this
review, they can be
purchased at Xoxide as well.
More information on the NZXT Trinity can be found on the
NZXT Website.
