Conclusions

Although its sheer size may look a bit intimidating at first, if you have the
room for it and install it properly, this is certainly one of the better
air-cooled solutions on the market. Pair it with one or two of
Thermaltake's silent CAT fans, and it can be one of the quietest as well. The
Tower112 is one well designed heatsink offering superior cooling performance
without the added noise. Its build quality is superb and would make an
ideal heatsink for any overclocker looking for high cooling performance
without compromise. Due to its size and weight, caution
should be taken when installing this heatsink and I would definitely not
recommended it to those who do move their cases around a lot.
One of the best features, however, is the fact that it is a universal 4-in-1
solution that supports even the new LGA775 Intel CPUs. This would make
it a wise investment, as it is likely you will find it suitable for a long
period of time, even if you decide to upgrade your current system.
Despite the issues with size, I would still recommend this product to those
who do have the room for it and are looking for a low noise, high performance
cooler. Recommended.
The
Thermaltake Tower112 is available at
Xoxide for $49.99. If you would
like to install the optional low noise CAT fans, they also have these fans
available for $9.99.
