I've had plenty of cases come in for review
here at ExtremeMHz over the past couple of years. It is one product I
happen to enjoy reviewing. However, while some looked impressive in
pictures, I've been more than disappointed with most that have made their
way in for review. I've found that a majority simply skimp on both
quality and features and tend to focus a little too much on appearance. Tom,
our head reviewer, can attest to this I'm sure. This is why I'm always
on the lookout for select few cases that may impress in all areas. That's where the ione Titanium comes
in. While most may not be familiar with ione, they happen to be a
division of MGE, a company that has gained the interest of many gamers and
PC enthusiast over the past year. Unlike MGE though, ione is primarily set to target the
sophisticated 20-45 year-old demographic group that demands style,
reliability and performance. The Titanium Series certainly does fit
this bill, and thanks to the folks at Geeks, I have the
pleasure of giving you a detailed look at this quality product.

The box was quite heavy, which is always a good
sign of quality. Included are some mounting hardware, two coin cell
batteries, I/O face plate, and a tag-style instruction manual.
Yes, a manual...something you don't typically find in such a product.
One interesting note that may be a potential problem for many is the fact
that the front panel came locked yet there were no keys in site. They
were actually inside the locked front panel. How this happened is
beyond me! Fortunately though, I happened to have the
lock keys handy from the Koolance PC-720BK and was able to open the front
and retrieve the keys.
Hopefully, this was just our sample. Keys should be included in the
white box that comes with all the hardware.
Design - A quick glance
Its overall design is nothing short of
impressive, and the case is very well suited for a server environment.

Both side panels feature a rounded steel mesh
cover. No cheap plastic here! Overall, the side panels look
great and compliment its design well.

The front features one of the largest,
full-featured LCD displays I've yet to see on a case. The rear is
fairly standard, with the exception of a very small and unlabeled black switch located on
the upper right corner. It also features a 90mm clear LED fan, one of three!
