Silverstone Temjin TJ10 Tower Chassis Review

Model:  SST-TJ10B-W

Manufacturer:  Silverstone

Provider:  Silverstone

When planning a high-end system build, one of the main products most PC enthusiasts focus on is none other than the enclosure they plan on installing their quality components in.  Unfortunately, after evaluating quite a number of cases over the years, I've personally found that most will usually take a gamble when purchasing one.  Pictures can be deceiving, and what may appear as one impressive, high-quality case may end up disappointing you when you when you actually see it first-hand.  Very few companies consistently put out cases that will impress in terms of overall quality.  If there is one company that has done just that and has managed to gain a high level of respect as a result, it is Silverstone Technology.  Their Temjin Series cases are designed to target those after ultimate quality and innovation and have proven to do just that with each and every release.  Today, we have the pleasure of taking a thorough look at their flagship enclosure in this series, the Temjin TJ10.

It is hard to depict in pictures, but the TJ10 comes in a surprisingly large box.  At first glance, it appeared to be double-boxed.  While I find this a necessity for shipping these products, it certainly wasn't necessary in this particular case.  The case is extremely well-packaged and arrived completely undamaged.  This beauty ships with a very basic install manual and three bags of install hardware that will definitely cover any type of setup you may be planning.

Design - A Quick Glance

Upon first glance, I was immediately impressed with its design and quality.  The first thing you'll notice after unpacking is its overall depth.  The TJ10 is a whopping 25.35" so make sure you measure and have room where you plan to showcase it.  While you have four different models to chose from, the sample of choice for this particular build sports a quality black, brushed aluminum finish and a window on the right door panel.  The front of the chassis sports a very clean yet pleasing design.  The rear of the chassis deviates from the norm a bit in terms of hardware placement.  More on that later though.  Overall, a very cleverly designed chassis that will certainly meet or exceed your expectations.
