Design & Features
The Tundra TD01 is a superbly designed cooler
that will certainly impress many the second they lay eyes on it.
Pictures honestly don't do it justice. You have to see one first-hand
to appreciate its beauty and level of quality. With that said, I took some extra
time with the pictures taken throughout this article.

Unlike any other external cooling system on the
market, the Tundra is primarily designed to blend in well with your high-end
home entertainment equipment and comes in both a silver or
black finish. Right down to its gold-plated audio-style feet and temperature
gauge, many will be unable to distinguish it from the rest of your audio/home
theater equipment. The main frame/enclosure is made entirely of thick,
high quality aluminum. While the finish is outstanding, you'll
certainly need to be a bit more careful in order to not scratch it.

The front of the unit is quite impressive.
It features a raise second panel (also made of aluminum) that sports a
gold-plated temperature gauge. To compliment the front temp gauge, the
bottom feet are also gold-plated. While I'm personally not a fan a
gold, it is just another indication as to the quality of the product and
what measures they took in order to impress when it comes to style.
Also, note how precisely designed it is. There are fins across all
sides of the enclosure. There's a reason behind this. Despite
its large footprint, the whole exterior frame is designed to act at the
radiator and is the reason it lacks any fans typically found in just about
every water cooling kit out there.

On the rear of the unit, you'll find the in/out
hose fittings and the power jack that will power the unit from your PC via
the included cable and PCI adapter.
Internal Components

Right after taking it out of the box, I was
intrigued as to what was within. I quickly opened it up using the
included hex tool to reveal what powers it. This is honestly where I
was convinced that absolutely no corners were cut in terms of its
overall quality. Let's have a closer look at the internal components...

The first notably impressive component is the
pump/reservoir. It is made of a combination of very thick aluminum and
acrylic and features dual submerge water pumps. You can tell just how
far the level of quality is right down to the reservoir cap. It is
also made entirely of aluminum and is actually quite heavy. No cheap
plastic cap here folks. Every single component in this system was
certainly not
overlooked.

All the tubing and fittings on the inside rear
are exceptionally mounted onto the the unit itself. They all feature
an anti-bending spring design to not only keep the tubing from damage, but
also maintain water flow at its highest.

Finally, we have a look at the small power
control board. Nothing much to brag about here, other than the fact
that the only connection you'll need to make is to its 4-pin Molex
connector, followed by the external power cable provided. Every other
internal component is already connected for you out of the box, simplifying
the installation process.
