Other than quality, the nice thing about
Silverstone is there attention to detail and their keen ability to release
unique products that most will actually find quite useful. The product
reviewed here is just another example of one that is out of the norm and
designed primarily to target the HTPC enthusiast. Deviating from the
standard design of your average power supply, the ST50EF-PLUS short cable
edition is designed for smaller cases such as those of the MicroATX variety.
Considering most will look to these as their primary choice for an HTPC
build, this particular unit is not only powerful enough to run them, but
built to better support such a setup.

This PSU ships in a fairly appealing box and
comes bundled with a user manual, power cable and black mounting screws.
The manual does include plenty of useful technical information regarding the
unit and you'll probably want to glance through it before you discard it.
