Conclusions

As you can see, the Windows powered Smartphone
is basically just a slimmed down
version of a Pocket PC except that it is much more convenient. Most of the
same great
software available for Pocket PC's is now offered for the Smartphone as well.
While
this doesn't mean it's the end of Pocket PC's, I honestly believe that they
will have
a huge impact in their overall sales. Unfortunately, many still see these
devices as just
phones, but they really are much more than that. My goal was to demonstrate
that in this article. The Motorola MPX200 is an excellent first generation Smartphone that can be just as good as a Pocket PC with the proper software
installed. To be quite honest, if greed didn't play a major role, many users
would actually be happy with this phone for up to a couple of years at least.
It is upgradeable to the 2003 Operating System but it is unlikely that you'll
ever see a public release of the ROM in fear that this particular phone will
impact sales of future product releases. That in itself should tell you just
what a great product this really is.
The future of Smartphones looks very promising
and it's just going to get better and better in terms of both hardware and software
support. Just wait till you see what Motorola has in
store for you!
For owners of the MPX200 Smartphone or those interested in Smartphones in
general, I highly recommend you head on over to the
Mobile Gadget News Website.
Not only do they have an excellent support forum, but you'll stay up date with
the latest technology regarding these remarkable devices.
Many thanks to the companies that provided the software for this article.
