A
laser or an Inkjet printer? The choice for many who plan on using one
strictly for personal use has always managed to shift back to inkjet,
despite how reluctant they can be when it comes to cost of ownership. In the past couple of years,
laser printers have significantly dropped in price and many are hesitant to
go for another inkjet printer when it comes the time to upgrade. Inkjet
printers can be extremely costly to operate and while the same applies to Laser
printers for business use, things change for those looking to purchase one
for home office or personal use. However, laser printers are big, bulky and ugly.
Regardless of the innovative features most tend to feature, the bottom line
is that not much has changed over the years in terms of its design. If there
is one company that can manage to break the norm and offer a product
appealing enough to entice many to finally make the switch, it is none other
than Samsung. Their sexy SCX-4500 is just one example.

Samsung also has a standalone printer model that ships in a smaller box.
Their multi-function model ships in a fairly appealing larger box and comes
bundled with a a clear paper feed tray, user's guide, quick start guide and
a starter toner cartridge. I would like to emphasize on the word
"starter". Many inexperienced users expect the product to ship with a
standard or high yield toner cartridge. After working with
countless laser printers over the years, I will tell you that all tend will
ship with starter cartridges. This is NOT a fault, just a standard.
Moving on, Samsung even includes a nice cleaning cloth along with this
beauty and with very good reason.
