There are few products as convenient as a
compact photo printer. They can not only be an excellent investment,
but can also save you precious time and money in the long run. In
fact, if you do your research well, some are not only capable of
outperforming photo lab prints in many areas, but a select few are actually
capable of competing with the alternative in terms of cost per print.
Over the past several years, I've owned a number of them, all of which
served their purpose well and left me quite satisfied. However, if
there is one company that currently has a strong hold on the market, it is
Epson. Since the introduction of their PictureMate series printers,
they have quickly earned a high reputation for their clever approach at what
can be really considered a "personal print lab". One of their very
latest, the PictureMate Dash, is certainly no exception. Stick with me
here as I give you very thorough and unique look at this somewhat hard to
find little beast loaded with just about every feature one can possibly ask
for.

The printer ships in a rather large box and
there's a reason behind this that will be covered in this article.
Moving on, the bundle includes a power supply, starter print cartridge,
starter photo paper pack, quick start guide and software CD.
On a minor note, UPS once again proved they are
the worst shipping company out there and the package arrived beat up and
almost unacceptable by any means. However, the printer is indeed
well-packaged and actually was able to withstand this level of abuse and was
completely free of damage.
