NEST Multimedia ATX Case Review - Installation & Performance

Motherboard installation is quite simple.  Use the included plastic stand-offs and screws:

Here's a shot with everything installed:

The front blue LED's are wired on to single molex connector.  All you would need is one available connector on your PSU.

So how do the front LED's look?  I think the pictures speak for themselves!

As I had mentioned earlier, I wasn't sure whether the 4 LED's would light the strips evenly.  As you can see in the pictures above, they do very well!  Notice the boring green power LED.  I'm thinking the reason they did not include a blue one is because both of these LED's are square (flat).  It's almost impossible to find a blue square LED.

The top drive bay with the built-in drive button works and looks great.  Here's a shot of it with my painted Pioneer DVD drive:

I wish they would have included another one like it and also would have liked to see an extra bay insert in case you mess one up while modding it or decide to change something around.

Performance:

The temperature reading below were recorded using one intake fan and one of the two exhaust fans.  Temperature is after 1 hour of normal use:

Not bad at all.  I'm sure if we were to install the two rear exhaust fans, it will drop another degree or two.
