Enermax MaxFlow CS-718 Full Tower Server Case

Model:  EG465P-VEFMA

Manufacturer:  Enermax

Provider:  Enermax

Reviewed By:  Miguel

Enermax, primarily known for their high quality power supplies, has also been releasing some impressive new cases. Today, we look at their new MaxFlow case that sports a cooling feature that I have yet to see implemented properly on a stock case...a full length air duct from the front to the back of the chassis.  Also sporting some features that will appeal to both the case modder and overclocker, the new MaxFlow appears to have all ends covered.  But let's take a detailed look at this impressive new chassis and find out if its cooling performance is truly as impressive.

I was greeted with a rather large and heavy box.  This full tower chassis is made primarily of steel and is quite heavy.  It is certainly a case you won't want to lug around with you wherever you go.  Included with the case are a bunch of drive rail adapters for its tool-free setup, power cord for the included PSU, air duct adapter for dual CPU setups, bag-o-hardware and detailed manual.

The front of the case is quite attractive to say the least.  It features some honeycomb style drive bays, large fan knob, LCD and I/O options that we will look at in detail a bit later.  Our sample does not have a side window, but a model with window is available.  The rear is pretty standard, with the exception of the exhaust fan being located on the bottom as opposed to the middle section of the chassis.
