Conclusions

The new Thermaltake LanBox Deluxe is a unique
chassis catered to a different crowd...serious gamers and LAN party
fanatics. However, it's not only its unique design that was
impressive. While I've found that some of their cases are a gamble in
terms of quality, this one happens to impress quite well in this area.
From its quality brushed aluminum finish, trouble-free stealth drive bay
covers and its super sturdy handle, its overall quality is certainly above
average. It would have been almost perfect if they would have at least
taken the initiative to feature some quality buttons on the case. The
power/reset buttons are incredibly cheap and flimsy and don't compliment the
case well at all. It completely puzzles me as to why they opted for
such cheap buttons when they already had all other areas covered in terms of
quality. Frustrations aside, it is certainly a well-designed chassis
in all other areas. When they say fully modular, they are not kidding!
Every part that requires the installation of components is removable to ease
with installation. Being such a small chassis, this is certainly a
major plus and one that usually isn't implemented this well. With that
said, this was the area that did impress the most. Its design and
overall quality earns our recommendation.
