The IPAQ H1910 may not have a speedier next
generation processor or
much expansion capabilities but it does offer plenty for a device of its size.
It is the first truly pocket sized Pocket PC. We continue to be
impressed with the screen quality of the IPAQ line. The H1910 has the
best looking screen of the bunch. Don't be fooled by the slower 200mhz
processor. Its performance was above average. We were particularly
impressed with its video playback and recording quality. One thing I
don't understand is why HP did not include a case with the device.
I don't see how expensive it can be to at least include a simple leather
pouch. All Pocket PC's should include some type of screen protection.
Case options are limited at the moment. Vaja does have a custom case but
you'll pay a premium for it. Certainly not worth it considering the
device has a price tag of $299. Personally, I think this is on the high
side considering you can purchase a full-featured Pocket PC for less than
that. (thanks to DELL). However, there have been some promotions
and/or rebates and many have been able to get the H1910 for $199. At
this price, it is certainly well worth it.
HP managed to reduce the size of
it's already popular IPAQ line beyond what we thought would be possible.
This is a new and exciting change for the Pocket PC. We look forward to
what will come next.
