Benchmarks
So users can compare device performance, we
decided to run some benchmarks on the IPAQ H1910. Our preferred
benchmarking tool was
VOBenchmark. VOBenchmark is a benchmarking suite for Pocket PC's
that will test the graphics I/O, integer, floating point and memory
performance.
Below are screenshots of the results.
Connectivity
The HP IPAQ H1910 only has an SD slot. It
does not support SDIO so connectivity is limited. However, HP does not
completely disconnect you from the outside world. It has an IrDA port
that can be used to connect to the internet wirelessly with a IR capable
wireless phone.

We easily connected to the internet using an
Ericsson T68i wireless phone. Speeds were acceptable for checking email
and some light browsing with Pocket Internet Explorer.
Battery Life
The HP IPAQ H1910 has a removable 900mAH
Lithium-Ion battery. Overall battery life was good for such a small
battery. To test, we fully charged the battery and loaded up an mp3
playlist on repeat using Windows Media Player. MP3's stopped playing
exactly 4 hours later. We were able to continue to use the device for
another 8 minutes before it completely died on us. Total battery life
was 4 hours and 8 minutes. Not bad! Note that these results were
based on minimal backlight use.
