If your a Pocket PC or PDA owner, you quickly realize the importance of having a good case to protect your investment.   These devices usually come with cheap bulky cases or pouches, and some don't even come with a case at all.  (we found this to be true with the otherwise excellent IPAQ HP1910 we reviewed a while back).  There are a few companies out there that produce custom cases specifically tailored for each device.  These form-fitting cases offer good protection and allow access to all of your device functions however, they tend to add unnecessary bulk and quickly deviate from what originally attracted us to these devices in the first place...their size!  The search for the "perfect" Pocket PC/PDA case seems endless.  Until now that is!

Innopocket is a company dedicated to providing custom form-fitting metal cases for a wide variety of Pocket PC's and PDA's.  Today, we will look at one of their cases specially made for the IPAQ H1910 Pocket PC.  The overall size of the IPAQ H1910 is quite amazing.  In fact, its unique size is what has made it one of the top selling Pocket PC's on the market today.  The precision molded aluminum case by Innopocket offers excellent protection while maintaining its original size and shape.  Let's take a closer look shall we?

The Case

At first glance, the case is like no other.  It's entirely made of anodized aluminum as opposed to the leather cases we are used to seeing.  The bottom of the case has an opening allowing you to sync/connect the device without having to remove it from the case.  The lid has an indent that resembles the layout of the joypad and buttons which adds to its overall good looks.  The top of the case is almost entirely open except for a small section on the lid itself.

The right side of the case has a cutout near the top for the stylus.  The left side has cutouts for access to the IR port and record button.  Both sides of the case has grips on it to prevent it from sliding from your hand during use.

The inside of the case is almost completely padded including the side rails to to keep the Pocket PC from scratching when sliding it in and out of the case.  The padding also adds quite a bit of support giving it a nice tight fit.
