Conclusions

Though obviously a problem on my test benches,
I was rather disappointed with the results I’ve gotten from these sticks. I
only regret not having the proper chipsets on hand to really give the OCZ
sticks a good run. I can say that when I get my hands on a 64 bit Athlon,
these are going to be the first sets of memory I reach for. Hopefully then
we will be able to revisit the OCZ EL 3200 Gold series and give them a
proper burn in. I would recommend not getting these if you’re still on the
478 P4 platform though, unless you have some massive voltage available for
your VDIMM. Considering that you can pick a set of these up for about $200
bucks, they are also very competitively priced. EM Recommended!
