Conclusions

There’s only one word I could think of to really
describe the EZ-638 – Sweet! There’s a lot to love and very little to hate
with the Ezonics 5.1 headphone set, that’s for sure. If you’re a laptop person
who loves to watch movies there is almost no reason I can think of for you not
to get these headphones. For the gamer, it’s a slightly different story
because of the microphone shortage…but that’s more of a judgment call for you
the consumer to make. For a LAN rig, these headphones might be a cheaper
option because you would not need to buy both a 5.1 sound card and headphones.
If it tells you anything about how much these headphones impressed me, the
only reason the Ezonics 5.1 headphones is not getting the Extreme Excellence
award is due to the lack of a microphone…otherwise, I would do it in a
heartbeat. EM Recommended!
The Ezonics 5.1 Headphones retail for about
$150.00 USD, but you can pick a set up at
Compgeeks for $82.00 USD.
