CoolIT Eliminator MTEC Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Conclusions

Not your average watercooling kit!

That's our motto for the unique products from CoolIT and we're sticking to it.  If you're after a much higher level of cooling performance without the need to shell out a substantial amount of money, the Eliminator from CoolIT is certainly your very best option.  Honestly, as I have stated before, the only other option out there is a phase change cooler, one that costs substantially more and not really an option for many enthusiasts and avid overclockers on a budget.  What you get with the Eliminator, simply put, is peace of mind.  You can easily take your system to higher levels while maintaining temperatures at levels you will definitely be comfortable with.    At half the price of the Freezone, you get fairly comparable results that will certainly impress and will outperform any air-cooled or standard water-cooled setup.  What many don't seem to grasp is that both the Freezone and their new Eliminator offer what I think is the best approach in order to achieve a higher level of performance.  This is not your average watercooling kit.  You're talking multiple TEC's + water, resulting in some impressive cooling performance.  Water doesn't run at ambient temperatures with the Eliminator nor do you have to worry about ambient temperature to begin with.  The water is actually chilled, improving overall performance.  Run the Eliminator at stock speed and put your fingers on that water block.  It will be very cold to the touch.  That's enough proof right there at just how different and unique this method of cooling really is.

Yes, their Freezone was a bit too expensive for many.  However, while I still think it is the absolute best in terms of performance, they designed their new Eliminator to meet the needs of those on a budget looking for similar cooling performance.  The company, based on reader feedback, also offers excellent support and all of our readers who have had issues with any of their products were very satisfied with the level of support they received.  It goes to show just how dedicated they are in not only providing a quality product, but one that will truly offer the cooling performance most have been looking for in quite some time.  CoolIT earns, once again, a very enthusiastic "Extreme Excellence Award" for the Eliminator's highly affordable price tag, excellent cooling performance and much improved design.

More information on the new Eliminator can be found on the CoolIT Website.
