Introduction
Out of all the keyboards I have reviewed in the past, there is still only
one that has remained my primary choice. The Saitek Eclipse was a
breakthrough in illuminated keyboards, and was a big step ahead all others
in terms of quality and innovation. It was simply the right approach
in terms of design, and has proven to be one of the most popular keyboards
on the market. Although unnecessary, Saitek went back to the drawing
board only to further improve upon their excellent product. The result
is the all new Eclipse II, sporting not one, but three backlight color
choices and a new design that brings many improvements, both in terms of
quality and features.

Like
their previous model, the Saitek Eclipse II does not need drivers for use
and therefore does not ship with them. Aside from the keyboard itself,
there is a vastly improved palm rest included.
