Conclusions

Finally, after we have taken a look at numerous
illuminated keyboards here at ExtremeMHz, a company does get it right and
releases a product that certainly does impress in more ways than one.
The Saitek Eclipse Keyboard, is by far, the best illuminated keyboard
currently on the market. It not only features the exclusive "True-Vu" keys for
visibility in all lighting conditions, but also offers the highest overall
quality out of any other model on the market, including the
more expensive EluminX keyboard. No ugly, cheap looking white keys here.
The Eclipse sports a highly attractive two-tone silver/black design with a tactile feel
that is a pleasure to type on. The silver keys on black body look great
and the paint is superb.
Also, those of you who do not like
the laptop-style keys that all other illuminated keyboards are plagued with will
find this keyboard an excellent alternative. Its highly innovative
design, high quality and proper use of its main feature earns our highest
recommendation and "Extreme Excellence Award".

Unfortunately, the Eclipse keyboard is not
readily available on the market as of yet. Ironically, the only place I
know where you can get a hold of one is at select Circuit City stores.
Usually local retailers carry junk when it comes to computing products, but in
this case, this is the only source I know to obtain one of these excellent
keyboards. We'll have to wait and see if some online stores or mod shops do
start carrying this product. With a price tag of $53, it is an excellent
deal considering its overall quality.
