CoolIT Systems Domino A.L.C. CPU Cooler Review

Model:  DM-1000

Manufacturer:  CoolIT

Provider:  CoolIT

Reviewed By:  Miguel

Review Date:  01/19/09

I've been a big fan of CoolIT ever since they sent over their Freezone CPU Cooler a few years back.  It was this first product from the company that quickly got them recognized and respected by many PC enthusiasts.  In short, they simply offered a completely new and highly unique approach at liquid cooling that was a major step above the norm.  Most were very skeptical at first and some were even quick to put the product down...that is until they got a hold of one!  However, this product, along with some of their other options, were still a bit out of reach for enthusiasts on a budget.  That's where their brand new Domino A.L.C. comes into play.  It is their latest addition to their impressive, highly quality liquid CPU coolers that is designed to target a completely different crowd.

The Domino ships in a pretty small, lightweight box and like their previous CPU coolers I have taken a look at here, is extremely well-packaged.  This cooler supports the latest Intel and AMD processors and ships with backplates and mounting hardware to support a number of modern system configurations.  This includes a LGA 1366 backplate, LGA 775 backplate and a AMD AM2/AMD2+ bracket.  All additional mounting hardware is also included.  A simple, yet informative installation guide is also provided.
