Installation was very easy. There was more than
enough room to work with and there were not any seriously sharp edges to
worry about. The CS-A666TA does come with a unique MB mounting system to
assist in the installation of the motherboard. It uses a few plastic tabs to
hold the MB in place while you secure it with screws to the standoffs. This
didn’t work well with the micro ATX board I installed, but it is still a
nice feature.

The fan controller works well, and it’s nice to
see the feature available without having to install an extra controller.
This feature definitely adds functionality and value to the case. The only
shortcoming is the number of fans it can control…I would rather have seen
six ports instead of four.
I was like a raccoon with a tin can when I finally got power to that
electric door. If my girlfriend hadn’t started bugging me about it I
probably would have sat there all day pressing the shiny button! The action
is smooth and the door works flawlessly. It allowed enough clearance for the
successful installation of a Musketeer II as well, but barely. I would not
recommend anything much larger.
It is also not particularly noisy, but it is not silent either.

Testing consisted of the usual battery of one hour with no load, and one
hour with Prime95 running. Both tests were completed at an ambient temp of
25°C.

This case does seem to run a little hot, but
with only one 80mm fan on the case this does not seem too surprising. With
the addition of one 80mm fan in the exhaust and another at the intake, it
should bring the case back down to average temps pretty easily.
