Brando Wireless Tiny Multimedia Keyboard Review

Model:  UKEYB001700

Manufacturer:  Brando

Provider:  Brando

Reviewed By:  Miguel

Review Date:  12/01/08

While I have used plenty of keyboards that are targeted at HTPC users, I have yet to find one that is perfectly designed.  Only one comes close, but still has some features that need improvement.  Also, a majority have a lot of features you won't even use in an HTPC environment, making them unnecessarily larger.  The keyboard I'll show you here may not be perfect, but is sure in a class of its own in terms of its overall size.  Not small or mini, the new Brando Wireless Tiny Keyboard is exactly that...tiny!   It is the smallest keyboard I have seen with comfortably-sized keys.  Despite its diminutive size, it even packs in a trackball for mouse functionality and multimedia keys, making it suitable for HTPC enthusiasts.

Brando Workshop

Before I move on, Brando is a word that comes up a lot on a number of Tech and Gadget sites.  While some are unfamiliar with this brand, most have almost certainly read up on a product from them online.  For those still curious, Brando is Hong Kong based company that offers a high number of USB peripherals and gadgets to all worldwide.  You can purchase any of their products directly from their website and they are shipped directly from Hong Kong.  When it comes to USB gadgets, they offer a large number of unique products and the keyboard we are looking at here today happens to be yet another.

When I received this product from them via registered mail in a standard manila padded envelope, I knew the keyboard had to be small.  In fact, it is so small that it ships in blister packaging that comes bundled with the USB receiver, software disc and install guide.
