Albatron, a relatively new company run by former
CEO of Gigabyte Jack Ko, has quickly gained the interest of many PC enthusiasts
and overclockers for producing high performance PC components. One of
these, the Albatron PX845PEV Pro, is one of their latest motherboards built on
Intel's i845PE chipset. This board gives new meaning to the phrase "good
things come in small packages". Although the board officially supports
DDR333, the board will run DDR400 with overclocking. If you're able to
get your hands on the next gen Intel CPU's, you'll be happy to know the
PX845PEV Pro offers Hyper-threading support!
Let's take a closer look at this small yet
powerful board shall we?
Opening up the shiny new box reveals this tiny motherboard along with IDE
cables, floppy cable, Manual, Driver/Utilities CD and Installation guide.
