Armor Case

With all that nitpicking out of the way, now it is time to concentrate on the technical aspects of the Logisys 500W acrylic power supply. Logisys really lucked out…The Armor case they sent me a while back has since received a full sleeving and UV job that will perfectly match the power supply and make for a nice test platform. The Armor case now has dual Silverstone 120mm fans instead of the single stock 120mm fan and side 80mm fan that it came with. The test system also had a pair of 12” UV cathodes to push as well.

Testing consisted of loading the system with the SiSoft SANDRA Burn in wizard and measuring the voltages using Motherboard Monitor. CPU utilization and Run Priority were both set to high.

**Idle**

**Load**

These numbers are pretty good. The Core voltages and the 3.3V rail did not move, which shows that this unit is supplying the power it is supposed to the CPU and RAM, among other critical systems. The +12 rail sagged ever so slightly, but well within an acceptable tolerance.
