Model:  Is200

Manufacturer:  PQI

Provider: PQI

Due to the increasing popularity of these handy storage devices, ExtremeMHz will continue to bring you flash drive reviews.  We know there are hundreds of these storage drives out on the market so we like to do the extra research to find some of the best and most unique drives on the market.  One such drive is the new Intelligent Stick 2.0 from PQI Corporation.  This remarkably tiny flash drive has been updated to support the USB 2.0 interface.  It brings new meaning to the phrase "Good things come in small packages".  Let's have a look...

Included in the package is an Instruction manual, a mini CD that contains the Win98 driver, application software and user manual, a clever credit card sized carry case which holds up to two drives and some tiny labels that can be attached to the back side of the drive itself.

The Drive

The connector is exposed but a nice istick holder is included.  The back side has a small area that can be used to paste one of the four tiny labels included.

This drive is very tiny.  In fact, I was quite shocked when I first saw it in person as it looks much bigger than it really is in pictures.   To demonstrate just how small it is, I put it next to a MMC (SD) Card as shown above.  It is only slightly thicker than a Multi- Media Card and excluding the connector (head), it is exactly the same height.   The cleverly designed holder is about the size of a credit card and is about as thick as two credit cards stacked on top of each other.  It allows you to store up to two drives.  That means that you can carry up to 2 GB of data in your wallet!
